Mosque Foundation Community Center MFCC basketball team participated in the Milwaukee tournament last month and brought the 1st place trophy home. More than 30 very excited players gathered the early morning of Saturday March 29th at our MFCC center. Our trip started with Duaa, and then we embarked on our trip with bus full of boys ready to play. When we reached the Milwaukee Masjid we were all amazed with the full indoor basketball court that connected to the Masjid. After getting dressed and with everyone on our team wearing our shirts that had Mosque Foundation Community Center on the front and on the back “sympathize with Gaza”. The day was full of exciting teeth clenching games which including 2 overtimes and three game winning shots. With an undefeated record the Mosque Foundation Community Center played Milwaukee MAS youth for the championship game and won 45-37. In a unanimous decision for who should be MVP our very own Ibrahim Saleh took the prize and the Mosque Foundation Community Center returned to Bridgeview with a trophy and bragging rights until the next tournament.
