Bonds That Tie Marriage Conference

In June, the Mosque Foundation organized a two-day conference on the topic of marriage, entitled Bonds That Tie. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the conference was a great success. The Mosque Foundation hosted Dr. Mohamed Rida Beshir, a renowned author and expert on the topic of marriage, parenting and the social dynamics of the Muslim family. Sh. Jamal Said and Aisheh Said also presented at the conference, lending their 30 years of experience with our community.  Seventy participants attended the interactive conference.

The participants were given evaluation surveys at the close of the conference to collect their thoughts on the event and to amass suggestions for future programs. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

The participants commented that they looked forward to future events and suggested topics for programs they hoped to see in the future, including: Muslim Parenting, Signs of the Day of Judgment, and Muslim Youth and the Challenges of Modern Society.
