Sh. Kifah Mustapha was invited by the Muslim Student Association to speak to students at UIC during Islamic Awareness Week on February 1, 2011.  This year's theme was "Islam: Moderation, Toleration & Spiritual Elevation."

Sh. Kifah lectured the audience about the importance of societal stability, psychological health, morality, peace, and social advancement through the maintenance of the family institution, as well as achieving tranquility within a marriage.
