Our daughters find spiritual benefit at MFCC.
In the midst of a vastly changing society and the light-speed crazy digital moving life, one finds his/her soul in need of spiritual guidance.
The Mosque Foundation Community Center (MFCC) offers our young girls of the ages 10 and up, an opportunity to work on their spiritual relationship with Allah (swt). The halaqas are coordinated by Sr. Rouzan Srour with chosen topics mentioned from the greatly informative book, Al-Tathkira, by Al-Qurtubi. Topics include a detailed comparison of the fate of the Muslim and Non-Muslim during death, the grave, the Day of Judgment, as well as a detailed description of heaven and hellfire. This halaqa is not restricted to MFCC members only; it is open to the public. This halaqa is offered each Thursday at 7-8pm at the MFCC.
The Mosque Foundation Community Center has just recently added a new program for young girls known as Young Muslimahs. Girls of the ages 8-12 meet every Sunday from 11am-2pm at the MFCC. Girls are enjoying creating a booklet of the names of Allah (swt), listening to the stories of the Prophets (PBUT), and other fun Islamic projects and activities.
