MFCC Program Highlights

MFCC held two major competitions this Ramadan
1) Islamic Knowledge Competition, forty questions and answers were distributed before Ramadan. 17 contestants participated in this competition August 20. Nine of them scored 100% and entered the Quran tie breaker. The top three winners were:
1st Place: Duhah Hamayel, won a lap top,
2nd place: Mariam Salem, won iPod touch
3rd place: Islam Jaber, won a digital camera
For the annual Ramadan Quran competition, 59 competitors participated in the Sept. 4th competition. A special thanks to our judges who made this year’s competition easy and smooth.

Ramadan Program for Boys
MFCC conducted a month-long Ramadan program for boys (6-12 years) at UniversalSchool. MFCC
Director, Abdel Baset Hamayel, Sh. Zakariyya Khudeira and Fares Hassan, along with many staff members and volunteers organized this year’s program. Each night between 150-220 boys participated. The kids enjoyed open gym time, praying Ishaa and Taraweeh, and snacking on donated sweets and candy.
More than 250 boys participated in the night-long Qiyam program to observe the “Night of Power.”
