Sh. Kifah Presents at Association of Professional Chaplains

 Mosque Foundation Imam & Associate Director, Sh. Kifah Mustapha, recently presented "The End of Life Issues For Muslims" workshop for the Association of Professional Chaplains. Over 3000 chaplains attend the APC Annual Convention every year.
Sh. Kifah presented a comprehensive presentation which covered the basic tenets of faith, as well as issues such as gender sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and Islamic views on coping with illness and death. Few Muslims are registered professional chaplains, so the basic Islamic information presented in this workshop is essential for the chaplains of other faiths who counsel Muslim patients and their families on a daily basis. |
