Another Year of Leadership & Service

The Mosque Foundation held its Annual Fundraising Dinner on March 20th at the Paradise Elegant Banquet in Bridgeview. Over 600 guests were in attendance to celebrate "Another Year of Leadership & Service." Dr. Zaher Sahloul, Mosque Foundation's exiting president, was awarded as Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his pioneering achievements during his two consecutive terms as president. He delivered a poignant farewell address to community members highlighting the past milestones and urging support for future endeavors of this mosque.
The Mosque Foundation would like to extend its thanks to all the volunteers and staff who poured so much time and effort into organizing this event to make it a success. And just as the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Whoever does not thank the people does not thank Allah," the Mosque Foundation is grateful for all the prayers, support and generosity of this wonderful community who donated close to $300 thousand dollars to maintain our masjid and its many services and programs. May Allah multiply the rewards in the highest, in this life and in the next.
