Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the prophet (PBUH) said: "Fasting is a shield; there shall be (for the fasting person) no sexual relation nor ignorance." (Bukhari)

The Mosque Foundation Annual Family Picnic was held on Sunday, June 28, 2009. Beautiful weather and mild temperatures enhanced the enjoyment for the scores of families who gathered in Swallow Cliff Woods for good food and entertainment which included face painting, pony rides, jumpers and slides for the children, as well as a Boys 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament with trophies and prizes.
