George Galloway Visits Mosque Foundation

 On Friday, July 3rd, outspoken British Parliament member George Galloway addressed the worshippers at Mosque Foundation before the Friday prayer service. Mr. Galloway was asking for support for a convoy he was organizing through Viva Palestina to take food, medical supplies and other needed items into war ravaged Gaza. Through their generous financial contributions and prayers, the Mosque Foundation shares the rewards of this humanitarian expedition and is pleased to report that over 200 members of the Viva Palestina convoy (many from this community) successfully entered Gaza on Wednesday, July 14th after a series of delays at the Egyptian border. Convoy organizer George Galloway addressed the cheering crowd in Gaza, “I’m really proud to say that Viva Palestina USA helped to break the siege. We will continue to bring convoys until the siege is finally ended.” |
