Nadine: Amira and Fidah J
Othman: Malek, because he is nice to everyone and teaches us about Islam.
What have you learned at the MFCC that you will never forget?
Nadine: I learned from the lectures that women have so many rights in Islam that makes me feel proud to be a Muslimah. I can hold my head up high at public school.
Othman: The beauties and wonders of Jannah, and insha Allah we will make it there.
What would you like to see added to the center?
Nadine: New media supplies because my generation is growing up with cool new technology that we rely on.
Othman: A full basketball court and a swimming pool!
If you could change something at the MFCC what would it be?
Nadine: I would like the girls to have as much fun and opportunities as the boys get. We deserve more hours at the center and more activities to do.
Othman: Nothing, I love everything there, alhamdulillah.
What is your funniest or most memorable moment at the center?
Nadine: The was a talent show and we all got a chance to perform, plus… I WON FIRST PLACE!!!
Othman: When all the boys try to beat up the counselors!!
When you grow older would you like to come back to the center and help with volunteering or as a counselor?
Nadine: Seeing as I want to be a professional detective after college, I would love to come back and give some training sessions to the members.
Othman: Yes, because I want to teach kids about Islam.
