Dubai International Holy Quran Award
 
 
The Mosque Foundation is planning to participate in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, which will be held Inshallah in Dubai- UAE. Between 8-20 Ramadan 1429 H.
 
The Mosque Foundation is to choose one nominee to represent our community in this important event. We are calling on all Hafiz to compete to win the MF nomination.
 
We will ask all nominees to set for a test on June 21st @ 6:00 pm at Mosque Foundation Community Center 7260 West 93rd St. Bridgeview, IL 60455

Participation Conditions:
The candidate
The candidate mus be fully memorizing the Holy Quran by Heart;
Has to fully conversant with the Tajweed rules;
Has to be a male;
Should not be older than 21 by August 15, 2008;
Should not had participated in a previous Dubai Award; and
Has to be American Citizen, or Alien Residence.
 
Obligation of the Organizer:
The organizer is obliged for the candidate and his companion for the following:
Issue the entry visa to the UAE;
Issue an economy airline tickets for the candidate and his companion (if applicable);
Full board hotel, accommodation, transportation, etc…; and
Only candidates who will be younger than 14 years by August 15, 2008 or in case of disability, has the right to be accompanied by one companion (has to be father, guardian, or close relative)
 
Documentation Requirement:
Recent photocopy of the candidate passport and his companion; and
Two new photographs.
 
Prizes:
Winners will be granted generous financial prizes along with certificates of appreciation,
1st Place will get 250,000 AED, while the last place (13th) will get 20,000 AED.
